Our Impact
Despite this being a very confronting and difficult experience for me to share a range of issues, I could not have felt more supported and respected by everyone involved. The highly professional and compassionate approach at every stage of the process gave me the confidence to not only follow through with this, but more importantly to positively engage and trust my best interests were the primary consideration. I particularly would like to thank the Practice Manager, for her patient and encouraging approach that as the first point of contact made me feel engaging with March Ahead was the right decision. I will be very happy to recommend March Ahead to others in need of this assistance. Thank you for helping me and for what you do for our veterans.

Right from the beginning March Ahead was the most stress-free organisation I have dealt with in relation to DVA matters. Nadia’s attentive timely communication and assistance was A+! We need more Nadia's in this world! Clinically, Billie and Edwin were very understanding and created a relaxed atmosphere, I would highly recommend March Ahead! Thank you!

Keep doing what you're doing. This whole process was so much more easy and comfortable than I anticipated it would be. Both Billie and Ashley were easy to talk with and made me feel comfortable. I think the video conferencing method is fantastic, I much prefer that than having to go to a clinic, find parking ect. Great to be able to connect and do it in comfort of my own home. Thank you to all your team for your help.

A very confronting experience opened a lot of doors. Both the professionals I spoke with were caring and thoughtful during the interviews. After the first session I think it took a few days to digest all that had been spoken about, seems like a weight was taken off me. During the session with the Psychiatrist, I was more prepared, and he was also able to help build me up a bit. The admin was great in offering a flexible time and with the video links etc it was great.

All staff members were professional and aware of Defence conditions of service and members service liabilities. All conversations were managed in a peaceful and relaxed environment with plenty of space for open conversation. I felt that the main area of professionalism was the ability to wait and listen. I was made to feel very comfortable without any pressure to provide feedback. The conservations were natural which allow me to reveal honest feelings without being protective. There were subjects that were discussed that have not been had openly discussed where I felt that the weight of previous knowledge was released and unburdened. I trusted all staff from March Ahead throughout the process without any feeling of consequences. This was a positive experience, and I am glad that I was referred to this professional service. Both my wife and I thank you for your professionalism and care. Best wishes all members of your team.

The service was very good. Sarah was quick and efficient with all the administration, they kept me informed of changes. The on-line form was easy to use. It was more comprehensive than I expected. This was a good thing, as it really provided me the opportunity to express my injury and illness. There was no waiting period - I submitted the forms and within two weeks, we were complete. I was dubious about the video call, but the engagement by Dr Charana and Billie was first rate.
Thank you for the support and report.

I found the entire process easier than I was expecting.
All of the staff that I had contact with were all very friendly, understanding and really supportive.
Female veteran
I wish more veterans knew about and used your services. I did not have a treating psychiatrist, so finding March Ahead helped me complete the DVA requirement for the IL claim. I’m not sure that’s a way to ‘improve’ your services, but I wanted people to know how grateful I am.
